The Yucca landing strip is totally unimproved. I don't recall seeing any radio gear there. It is designated as NV11.

When you are trying to visualize the Janet route, recall that the planes fly low in front of the Papoose Range. You can't even see their landing lights from the Power Line Overlook.

It seems to me that the base would need some beacon around N37.16 W115.72, given that they are on their final around 9nm out from the base.
