You have obviously spent a lot of time researching this, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your information with us.
What you say makes a lot of sense to me. Except for one detail: You say the powerline is the backbone for the NTS, and then that it is frequently down in winter, due to bad weather. Wouldn't that affect the entire Test Site?
Also, wasn't there an ex-pilot who claims he frequently flew to an airstrip in Area 19, to drop off personnel? Not that I believe everything thats on TV... ;-)
Anyway, thanks again! I am curious to see what others think about this.
