In early Feburary, my friend and i took a trip to area 51 and spent two days in the valley. on one night, we were driving on the road approximately .7 miles away from the mailbox and noticed a light down the road on the horizon. it was 12:45 and totally dark under a full moon. at first we thought nothing of the light thinking it was a car, but as you all know that have been to the valley, you can see a car at least 5 miles away. about a minute and a half later, we looked up the road and noticed that the light was only about 100 yards away. we turned off our lights only to be followed by the object turning of its own. When we turned them back on, so did they. We looked out the sunroof of the van, only to see a silhouette of a large helicopter running in silent mode. we couldnt hear it and it was at least 100 yards away. i was just wondering what type of helicopter it possibly could have been. If any ideas, please respond.
