that date is interesting - a couple months prior was the first successful test of the Skyborg system on the General Atomics MQ 20 Avenger out of Edwards. Been lots of gossip about the Skyborg program building up steam and entering new phases. in related news, Boeing announced it is dropping out of the Skyborg program... ...but that they also brought over a unit to the US for more development. I'd bet you're going to start seeing an increase in interesting drone activity
