The road originally (pre-7/2016) goes to the site you mentioned at 37° 14.820'N / 115° 42.750'W. In the next available GE image from 8/2019 it is extended by about 170 yards to the location I posted. There even appears to be a very faint track SE from there for another 150 yards. That may or may not be the RQ-180 crash location. My confidence in that one is not as high as in the other site. But since the article (and the video it is based on) mentions that both sites are fairly close together it would make sense. Since a chopper coming from the base would first fly over this site it would also make sense that they first searched the wrong crash site for the pilot.
