I guess you are right, they would have had to adapt special cammo in order for it to be used in reconnaissance. It also struck me that it would be too slow to outrun any attacker sent up to intercept it. So if a secret military blimp existed/exists, has anyone got any idea why the military would spend money on developing one when its weaknesses are clear?
