The Bucc was so good coz it could get right down in the weeds and was quite small too. I don't think it was supersonic on the deck though.

The Vulcan was actually very 'quiet' when it came to radar signature. The large delta dissipated alot of radar energy and reflected it away, and the turbine face was well buried in the wing root. Imagine if they had applied a bit of RAM and upgraded the engines and avionics, then the Brits could have had their own stealth bomber!
