So what your saying is: If i was you, i wouldnt rely on your GPS for sole navigation of the Desert. If it does decide to pack up then you will be trouble. Who knows, TTR may start also, then youll never find your way back to the *Car*. Richard

Just dont take your GPS around China Lake on Jamming days.
C/lake do very powerful GPS jamming test days and set up a temporary HIRTA for the NOTAMS site to warn pilots.
