I found a site with some old report about Nellis. It has a map of the area inidcating ordance burial sites and radioactive contaminated sites. Quite a few are in the TTR.

Project 57 looks like it is a bit north of the operation at Groom Lake. Perhaps they were trying to make a catsup bomb. ;-) (sorry couldn't resist)
