The point I was trying to make is that there is a USAF unit (20th Fighter Squadron "Silver Lobos" of the 49th Fighter Wing based at Holloman) that flies F4's with USAF markings, which are occasionally seen at Nellis as well as other places in the US, that could have been in the Green Flag. I don't give a "hoot" who owns them. As a US taxpayer, I most likely helped pay for them no matter who "owns" them. And the unit and planes (F4's) are listed on the last published USAF inventory that I have access to. As it turns out, the last Green Flag had participation from Italy, Singapore, UK, Germany and Canada as well as the US. (119 aircraft) - The Tornadoes were from Italy and Germany.
