My Garin topo map shows:
Mormon Peak
Mormon Mountain

Both are 58 miles from Nellis in a northeast direction.

Now the Nellis maps does have Mormon Mesa, directly north of the north side of Lake Mead. In fact, I15 goes right through the Mormon Mesa. The point on I15 that is 50 air miles from Nellis and on the Mesa is
N36 45 44.3 W114 21 20.4

Of course this is no where near where Norio mentioned....
