Since I'm planning to attend the next Red Flag scheduled for following October, I would like to know if a 400mm Lens mounted on a Canon EOS 10D (it means actually a 680mm lens on a digital camera) is enough to take good pictures of aircrafts from Coyote Summit and other spots like Powerlines Overlook. Is it possible now to take photographs of the aircrafts landing at Nellis, remaining on the main road ? I was there two times in the past, but can't remember exactly the distance, since then it was possible to stand immediately below the glidepath. Thank You for Your help.
