The original design of the B-2 bomber had the same wing trailing edge shape as the B-21 Raider, but when the B-2 design was finalized, its trailing edge design changed to a double-W shape. The Lockheed Martin X-44 and P-175 Polecat also had the same V-shaped trailing edge of the wing as the Quartz project and initial B-2 design, and the B-21, RQ-170 and RQ-180 have this wing trailing edge shape too. Therefore, Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin have independently worked out reconnaissance and bomber flying wing designs with a V-shaped trailing edge of the wing.
