I had a scanner when I lived in Idaho during the 80's and read in a radio enthusiast magazine that still unacknowledged stealth fighters flew pretending to be A-7s using call signs starting with "M". One night I heard 16-20 planes flying in pairs using the call sign Malsa going into the Saylor Creek bombing range. One of the pairs was cleared by Salt Lake to return to the "Tonopah test range, as filed"
