I do indeed recall telling you a long while back that the escorts would be each possessing a unique ability that would fuse together to produce a cohesive set of kinetic and non-kinetic effects.

The figure swings between 5 or 6 escorts per manned assets depending on what systems each team puts most emphasis on.

Some like to swamp the air with advanced IRST and EW, others like to have AESA and missile trucks.

Exciting times!
