The JFEX 22A exercise happened today as we had predicted. We counted 17x C-17 and 14x C-130. Unlike previous years most of the heavies stayed clear of the Keno airfield and instead made their north-south pass west of the Kawich Range. About 6x C-17 took turns landing at Keno. The attached audio clip is the Keno UNICOM on 326.800 MHz. You can hear Keno ground coordinate and deconflict the heavies.
