I have added code to (hopefully) prevent duplicate forum posts in the future. Unfortunately there is not much I can do about the lag time when hitting "post". It is caused by sending out the new post to hundreds of mailing list subscribers. I had minimized the impact with multi-threading but apparently my web host has disabled multi threading a while ago. I can't say I blame them. My hack put quite a bit of load on the server and resulted in orphaned processes. In the process of fixing my fix I apparently managed to corrupt the forum index. Should be all restored now. Please email me if you see anything that does not look right. Thanks for your patience.
