I live in southern Cali and have heard a couple few sonic booms the past few months. Most of the booms people hear around here are from Camp Pendleton though but some are not. A friend of mine north of Pahrump has reported what he and his neighbor describe as double and triple sonic booms the last couple years. He texted me a couple weeks ago that he heard it again. It could be a flight of 2 or 3 I suppose but he says when he hears them they very consistent.
