Coyote Summit is the last summit before you get to Rachel, coming from Vegas. Look for trash barrels next to the highway. You can drive up to the top of a small hill on your left (again, coming from Vegas). The road up there is easy to see. Its a bit rough. You may need high clearance or a car you really don't care about :-) The top of that hill is a great view spot. That is where I took the first set of the F-117 photos. Or you can drive a bit further in the back of the hill, park and hike to the top of the hill at your 11 o'clock. Follow the wash to the saddle in front of you and then hike up the hill to your left. Its a fairly easy 1/3 mile hike with only a few hundred feet elevation change. The weather forecast is daytime highs in the 90's with clear skies.
