There is a new kid on the block - a new, extremely high voltage GaN AESA radar technology that will revolutionise the fighter / electronic warfare arena.

I wont deep dive into the science, but I thought it would be prudent for the board as we all love to peek into the cutting edge from time to time.

But it is here.

Think unmanned smaller UCAVs needing a radar. What will they get? A radar that's half the size of the unit in say, an F22, but lose nothing in performance.

Turn that to an F22, if they keep the same form factor? Will get a 50% boost in range, cooling AND have all that on tap for aggressive electronic attack.

We truly are on the cusp of seeing a revolution in capability on offer.
