Yeah, I had the same thought. First thing I noticed in the press release posted here was there was no mention of the dollar value of the contract. A little digging and I find (see link) it's for $1.5M. That's round up error in the DoD. While a smaller, more agile start up could make a couple million go further than Boeing or LM, it's sounds like basically a paper exercise. I wish them all the best, but I wouldn't go predicting a first flight anytime soon.
