Thanks for the clarification. I would love to hear your opinion when you had a chance to try it. I can't imagine 3000mm being useful for fast moving jets. I have a hard enough time keeping them in view with my 400mm lens. But I will gladly learn otherwise. Also about usefulness for Tikaboo panoramas.
