We've had success in finding the map. “Codetracer” provided great assistance in helping us find the data we were seeking –and all the way from Sweden!

Thank-you to all of you who helped in the search - Joerg, Hank, Glenn Campbell, Peter Merlin, and the myriad of others who provided hints and peeks into the origins and content of the map and the handbook.
It's a testament to this site that we were able to track this information down. This is proof that Dreamland Resort is the definitive source for all things related to Groom Lake/Area 51...especially if you care about facts and accurate history.

We are continuing our quest to build 3d models of all the buildings at Groom and to get those published in Google Earth. But, our work entails much more. There is an incredible amount of data on this map that we need to bring into "the book". "The book" I reference here is the file set called "area51 SAR - some assembly required". Our ultimate goal is for “the book” to be an interactive text, graphic, video, audio reference document covering all aspects of area51. If you haven't looked at it, please take the time. The "links' section of the area51model group is the interactive end of "the book" and really is just a prototype of what we hope it can become.
Everyone is invited to join this group, and we welcome any input, assistance, etc. that we can get.
