If you type in "blackbird crash in El Paso,Tx you'll find several blurbs on the crash.....One site states the burnt remains were bulldosed run over and then dozed into a pile and buried.....???? If you got any numbers off the actuators you could contact Hollywell (Bendix owners now).....look under "Contact Us"....
There was a tanker crash in that area......There probably have been a number of crashes in that area...
EP was the site of Biggs AFB (SAC) and it had lots of aircraft....Now deactiviated the remains of Biggs was turned over to Ft. Bliss......
Most of these companies have history/srchive departments....
Bendix was well known for it's ABS aircraft brake systems....Don't know if Honeywell still uses Bendix name on products or notss
