-Groom Battery-

I think this subject has been brought up years ago. But they had a good point. You will see missile battery's at Fort Belvoir etc. But not the classified Groom lake? Now a few reasons i can come up with a reason why they aren't at Groom. One is the NCR National Capitol Region is a huge target because of all the National security sites comprised into one very small portion of the country. Groom is within the mountains in a very remote location. Heavily monitored by CAOC-N. So they have plenty of response time for an F-16 or F-22 escort or shoot to kill. Unlike the DC area. But there is something quite interesting. It looks like there might be a new possible Battery site.

I am going to attach a few images.
I know Image shack isn't our favorite but it is the only way i know how to on this site. (at least it is a direct link)

This is the site i am talking about within Groom. http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/2039/battk.png

Here is a side view of it behind the fuel tanks.

The object to ME looks like a payload transporter. http://www.warren.af.mil/library/factsheets/factsheet.asp?id=4461

In all honesty it could end up be something completely different.
But i know there are a lot of military enthusiast and historians on here. So a opinion would be greatly appreciated from anyone.

Here is a actual deployed missile battery.
