I came across this in the book Top Secret Tourism, apparently the log book was found in the wreckage. Amoung various airports it went to and from Groom Lake was apperently in the log, the source of that information however is not listed. Presumably this could have been used as evidence in the Hasenfus trial and the subsequent Iran-Contra affair. Their mission was more than likely at the highest security level possible therefore Groom may well have been made available by the CIA to offer maximum secrecy. Who knows? We do know the whole Iran-Contra affair was desperatly politically sensitive and a lot of people scurried around to cover up as much as they could.
