I completely agree with your reply however I had one thought of what the contents of the briefcase might contain. A Geiger counter or other type of sensor maybe? Was this man perhaps overly protecting the nature of his job? Maybe it was simply a secure area badge with a geiger counter on it? The Government would want that back. The one thing that threw me was the retrieval after death thing? Just a few thoughts, anything of higher importance should have been secured in a vault. Your reply is probably closer to the reallity of this story.
