I don’t know about the genius part, but as an airline employee we travel stand-by so it became a necessity to cache certain items rather than my equipment orbiting on a bag claim carousel in LAS while we got bumped in ORD or DEN. It also got old lugging all that stuff each trip out.
The cube is horizontal and is in a building with an entrance and isles of cubes. The area is code gate secure. I am not sure of availability but there are more units towards Nellis. Anyone when in the area can do a search. Lockers for personal items and shared items make sense.
