The Quik Pik has been closed for quite a while now and the locals ive talked to seemed to have dealt with it. As far as road travelers are concerned if they are coming from Alamo or Ash Springs or Tonopah its probably common sense to keep your tank topped off. Iam not sure that anyone really relied on their being gas in Rachel as their were many times when they were out of fuel. I have been to the Inn a couple of times since the Quik Pik closed and their doesnt seem to be any downturn in business. So all in all Rachel will survive.
