Yes, the site you are looking at appears to be the outer marker for the old runway. There is a road leading south from that area, and then east and back north to another scraped area. That area is in line with the new runway (which is now exclusively used), about 3.5 NM out. Hard to tell on Google if there is an antenna there, but the disturbed ground indicates some sort of activity there. I'll have to look for these two areas and the building next time from Tikaboo. You should be able to see it from there. The radio traffic would indicate that Pyramid is over 4 miles out, and just before the final left turn SE of Papoose Mtn, where they line up with the runway. This would put it further out than the building you mentioned. BTW: The Janets were taking a "direct" route this morning (callsign of the day is "Raven"). The route takes them over a fix named SMOKY just before the approach, at FL 11,000, descending. Does anyone have a location for that fix?
