Down by Cedar Ranch is also good if you like the cows. Also, consider close to a dry lake bed especially if you bring some ATV's or a dirt bike. If not, and you want to be close to town, the A Le Inn has several (2) spots with some shade, water, electric, and sewer dump. You are close to toilets, food, and live music Saturday night-which is actually really good. You can then putt around the 'sites' during the day. The people around town are especially nice and welcoming to visitors. I have stopped and visited with several while riding around town. Even been invited in for drinks on a few occassions. It's definately a long drive to get there from most spots, but well worth it if not to say you have been there. Have fun, bring lots of water, spotting scope, camera, and cash for souveniers at A Le Inn. Also-try the Alien Burger while in town its quite good.
