I think it's unlikely tanks of that size would be used to store hydrogen in any form. In liquid form, it would have to be kept very cold and vented similar to LOX.

If stored in an absorbed form, it could become unstable (explosive) if it came in contact with any moisture. Substances such as sodium and forms of potassium and ammonia are kept anhydrous for this reason.
