Just a random question-- after reading Jeorg's (wonderful) article in AI, I started wondering if there's any chance that the new fuel tanks are holding anything but jet fuel. Is there a visual difference between hydrogen (liquid or gas) and jet fuel storage tanks? I know there were experiments with hydrogen fuels way back, but has anyone heard or seen anything suggesting there might be newer experiments? The world oil situation is likely to get even more sticky in years to come, and it seems like we might have trouble securing enough to keep our military in the air.
