Excellent post. It is certainly not our intention to discourage new posters, or people who just developed an interest in Area 51, from participating in the discussions here. The opposite is true. I created this site and this discussion forum for both the "new guys" and the veterans to be able to exchange ideas. Sometimes it works better than others, but I think for the most part it has worked quite well. As much as I hate to see a good contributor go, no one has any special rights here. The only thing we ask from new posters is to please check the FAQ section first, to see if their question has been answered there already.
