Considering all of the test facilites they have there and the large main airfield, I think Kwajalein would make an excellent site for a hypersonic aircraft to operate out of. It's a place you aren't going to get anywhere near without security clearance. Also, San Nicolas island, the furthest island out from LA where there is a NAS and they use for missle tests had been reported to have "black " aircraft operate out of it. I believe San Nicolas was the island Aviation Week suggested the aircraft that almost hit an airliner flying into LA was operating out of. The pilot of the airliner reported it as sort of a lifting body with canopy. I'm wondering if he didn't encounter the BOP since it sort of looks like a big manned cruise missle.
