At the very core, a hangar is a shelter. Shelter from the sun and the elements. The canyon hangars for the F-117s were designed so that all ground services could be performed in the hangar, including fuel and ordnance loading. Other aircraft can benefit from this if needed. One example I can think of would be avionics updates or some other ground service that requires external power.

The F-117 has an AC external power receptacle, and the King Air has a DC receptacle. I would not be surprised if the hangars have plugs for both AC and DC. Another possibility could be oxygen service, which is extremely common. If the King Air needs O2, why not pull it in out of the sun?
