Thank you Smythers, please disregard my other response to the Cranked-arrow F-35 thread since this is more pertinent. On the smaller scale of the unmanned topic, one of the scenarios I worry about in the Pacific is the threat of sub-deployed, aircraft-deployed, or missile-deployed drone swarms that can maintain a presence on any given island and cause absolute havoc on occupying forces with a wide variety of munition types. Or even against ships. Or another where they can be deployed to release a corrosive substance against ships to physically decay or disable sensors/communications preceding a larger strike. I believe relative to the Chinese, a lot of consideration should be made for the extent of unconventionality they are willing to go to in order to subdue a technologically superior foe.
