Is it possible the siren sound came from a supercharger? Shelby and Ford have a close relationship going back years. Shelby offers a supercharged version of the SVT Raptor (http://songdejautogas.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/2014-ford-raptor-shelbyshelby-ford-f-150-raptor-supercharged-62-liter-v-8-engine-photo-gqo2to0t.jpg) with 575hp. There are also various other aftermarket superchargers available. Depending on the drive system a supercharger can make a distinctive whirring sound that rises and falls in frequency with the engine RPM.
