i looked up felony in widipedia (source of all truth) on the internet (tool to get to the source of all truth) and found the definition of a felony is basically acrime with a punishment of MORE than one year. Exactly 1 year and less is a misdemeanor. i found it interesting that the USA is one of a few countries that still use this old system.... if you commit a felony you are a "felon". if you commit a misdemeanor are you a "misdemean"?
