Paul, thanks for posting this info. I sent you a similar question on another thread today.

The couple times I've been around Fallon checking the area out (from Chicago) both times there was a carrier airwing there. Just dumb luck. It was quite a show watching the mass launches and recoveries. This was back when they still had the F-14's and when they were also just beginning to mix some F-16's back into the Aggressor squadron. So there was a nice mix of aircraft.

I was lucky to see one of the final flights of an entire Aggressor squadron of the old F-16N's, A-4's, T-38's and F-5's come through NAS Glenview by where I live around 1990 on the way from Oceana to the Davis Monthan boneyard. Had the take off on film (but was recorded over by my wife a couple of years later). DOH!
