Uniden close call

I had the opportunity to do monitor a shall we say remote facility with a small group of people. One of themhad a Uniden scanner with Close Call. Close Call is a RF capture feature where it looks for the frequencies rather than you plugging them in. It is at it's best in rural areas where there are not a lot of RF sources. In this particular application, it worked quite well. I had all the frequencies from the FCC database, but Close Call found them all, including a repeater input not on the database.

The reports I've seen on the net indicate it doesn't works well on aircraft frequencies, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't work around Groom Lake.
