Ihave always used Budget in LV. They have Rangers, Explorers, F-150s and Escapes in 4wd. If you intend to drive the unpaved, but county maintained roads, you should be fine. If you want to use 2 rut roads, blaze a new path or rock crawl that might lead to a problem. Lately the rental companies everywhere exclude "off road" use from insurance taken at the counter as well as available thru credit card companies. In other words if you go "off road" and break it - you bought it. It seems they have taken a big hit on damaged rental returns. A call to a local LV office might get you more info. Good luck.
