Albeit most are in-operative now due to tampering and weather.

If they have started doing this 'again' then something is going on 'again'.
Why install sensors on the road when they can see you coming anyway, like i said, the other sensors soon get in-operative whther they are tampered with or not.

Perhaps they are lessening there patrols, when the sensors go off, they make their appearence.
