Elian's trying to maximize his chance for staying in this country (actually Miami, which is actually under foreign rule) by going to a baseball coach to improve his pitching. His ERA improves enough, and his immigration staus will not be an issue. OK, it's off-topic but down here it's a 24/7 news event, and some of us are getting REAL tired of it.
