For those of you interested, the SR-71 airframe numbers being mothballed by NASA are... SR-71A: 64-17967, 64-17971 and 64-17980 It is not known which one will end up in the Dryden museum, nor where the others will go. See the SR-71 article in the More Info&Photos section of this site for a list of where all the other airframes currently reside. There are now no 'known' Mach 3 capable aircraft now flying anywhere in the world! (I don't count the MiG-25). Magoo
