I've got a friend that flies Nighthawks (mostly for the 55th until it was disbanded) and was flying for a CSAR squadron out of Nellis. The pilots call it "The Box" amongst themselves, and talk of the fatal Nighthawk crash last year in and about "The Box" as bad weather and pilot error (the lack of the Right Stuff). I'm talking more to him to find out other details, but these guys fly everywhere, including "The Box".
