Unfortunately this idea keeps popping up in the related newsgroups. However I very strongly advise against it, or even trying to violate the invisible border.
You are aware of the signs saying "Use of deadly force authorized?" Trust me, they mean it, and they had time and manpower enough to develop strategies against any possible form of intrusion.
Without going into details I can tell you that there is A LOT more than the visible defense systems, and an intruder, or a whole army, would most likely not even get within sight of the base.
There are better ways of getting to them, like field research, sharing information and educating the public. And from the signals I am getting I can tell you that it ticks them off just as much...
