Hey Zipper -

The taxiing Blackbird that I saw was during the middle of the freaking day - on the main ramp area, on a weekday. I doubt that it was classified, since I plus thirty other folks in the group watched it taxi by.

If it were classified, it would have landed on the lakebed, killed the engines, and been towed it.

Also - I believe at the time I do remember something about an aerospike engine...maybe just read that somewhere?
