The NASA SR-71 ceased research flying on October 26th 1999 (i think i got the 'date' right) but i know i got the month and year right.
One of its very last flights if not the last was at Edwards AFB Open house when it was on an official air-test.

I will ask my friend at Dryden and see what they are doing with it, probably going in the Dryden museum for being such an Aviation Feat in testing for other aviation related programs tasked at Dryden RC.
