Thank you so much for sharing this with us, Tom! I appreciate your first hand account of the history of the Tikaboo viewpoint. And, BTW, welcome in our Dreamland Resort discussion forum.
As many others, I wish I could have been there in the early days, or rather would have been aware of the subject at all.
Did you get to see anything interesting at the base during that historic hike?
